Hi Guys,

Ive been working on somthing for a little while, looks like its going to happen so I'll share it with you guys.

This specific belt is destined for a very special trip. Its leaving us today for the first leg of a very, very long journey. Its ultimately going to end up at the South Pole having first crossed Antarctica as part of the "Shackeltons Unfinished Business" expedition, hopefully late this year or early next. Our Explorer range has always been a tribute to great men and women, but also its about us putting our money where our mouth is, supporting people trying to do amazing things and putting our products in harms way to test them in ways we couldn't even think of. It'll be very cool indeed if this gets all the way there and back

This is our Shackleton belt and this is the expedition

Not a special photo but certainly going to be a special journey!

I think the best lining for Hazel is probably Hazel actually. Its such a lovely colour you nearly spoil it by mixing it with somthing else. Just my opinion of course though!

I have one. Is a great looking leather in person, pictures don't capture it well IMHO.

Thats very fair to say! The grains are very subtle, you just cant do them justice in a photo. Im working on another right now, lovely dark rich colour, dark enough to be formal, grained enough to be more casual..

I hope so, but we haven't an accurate ETA as yet Im afraid. We're still working on the last stages of skin buying and we'll need to get the CITES accreditation organised after that. We'll keep everyine updated on the process though.

Thanks. Are we talking a few months or more than a year? I.e, should I look elsewhere if the latter.

Well I hope the leather will be here this month and hopefully it wont take too long to get the CITES stuff sorted so few months or less ideally

We're starting of with a dark brown like the video and adding as we go along. Id have thought a mid brown next and a dark green and blue and maybe a black and grey. Very open to suggestions as ever, though availability is patchy at best and we may have to keep colour families rather than specific shades in stock.

I've gotten rid of all my other belts, Equus is the only thing I wear. Incredible customer service too!
