1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It seems like I'm in the minority but I like the RCs just the way they are.

If Epaulet started making underwear, you could literally wear all-EP head to toe, all day, every day for almost any situation. Unless you're going running or skiing or something like that...

Just curious, are you down to pay $300+ for shoes and/or $150+ for pants/shirts? Don't get me wrong, I prefer sub $20 socks myself but having a few pairs at the $20-ish price point isnt so bad in the grand scheme.

Yes and yes. But socks wear out much faster than either shoes or pants. (Wash them everytime, more wear and tear, toenails, etc)

Plus, you need more socks than you do shoes.

Oh yes, we're not changing a thing on the Rivet Chinos. They're staying just as they are. This garment-dyed pant would be an entirely new, Epaulet LA branded product. Just another alternative. It's more about the fabric than anything. Italians execute a particularly nice garment-dye product - like LBM 1911.

Good call, and smart point about the tattoos. I never thought about that.

And for the moment, MTO shirts are still on hold. However, we had a nice discussion today which could lead to a new program in two months or so. It's looking like pattern changes - in particular collar size changes - are going to be impossible, but we can offer a vastly expanded choice of pockets, buttons, collar styles, and cuffs. And I'm pushing to have sleeve length and body length be variable, as I think that's what most people are looking for with pattern changes. We're working at it!

Indeed, trying to at least. That is unless i've finally lost it and this is somehow my Tyler Durden moment.

Yup, have always liked this sport coat but this will be the last winter I spend in cold climes for several years. Still, once it went on sale I had to jump.

Drivers and other service reps can write in whatever they need to, but, yes, there are preset choices.

EDIT: That said, I work for a different freight company and got curious, so I logged into our internal system to see what we have as options -- lo and behold, there are multiple accident-related presets, so who knows! Maybe UPS does have that as a preset. Which is scary.

I'd love to see some alternative pants. I've been buying Our Legacy's Relaxed Trousers lately because they don't fit into the chino camp or the traditional trousers camp. Those fleece pants as described are a must, and possibly even those garment-dyed pants based on the RC shape.

A hoodie would be nice, but I'm not a huge fan of two-way zips. They had better be quality enough that they don't get stuck. ;) Sweatshirt would be great provided the neck is looser as tonio and others have said... Everlane's pattern is great, but I hate the reverse terry.

Mike, I'll join the chorus and say that I'd like to see a higher rise on the garment-dyed pants. The rest sounds great.

Oh right. The first rule of oatmeal tattersall club would be not to talk about it.

It's really not a heavy fabric so you should get some cooler weather night time wear unless you are moving to full tropical equatorial.

Man do I love coming home to a box of clothes from Epaulet. Please forgive the low-quality photo (and the jacket / sleeve length for traditionalists, I know I should be a long). The most amazing part was that the Walts were already hemmed to the perfect length. How that happened I will never know.

This is cool...though I have a huge problem dropping that much money on a bottle of Scotch, and I'm a HUGE whiskey guy. The shoes will last forever, the Scotch not so much, and in my experience with the uber expensive whiskeys (I did take the plunge on one, a Laphroaig 25) I can say that the difference between a $50 and a $100 bottle (where my limit generally is) is so much more noticeable than the difference between a $100 and a $500-$1000 bottle. The price jump is much more noticeable in clothing than it is is whiskey. Stick to a Glenlivet 18.

Damn, with no collar size adjustment on the MTO shirts, I'll just have to stick with MTM from other places. It was a good idea the first time around, but if there were too many issues with production then I totally understand the reasoning for not keeping that option there.

I'm with you, disappointed, but I understand the reasoning.
