I've also tried on the cord bedford, but in the khaki colour. The fit is awesome. Nice tight shoulders. Really hope that Gary recieves extra herringbone bedfords!

Does anyone know where else the tan cord Bedford is being stocked? I tried one on today at Barney's and it changed my opinions on corduroy, but it looks like I'll be paying closer to $450 after taxes if I get it from them.

Also, does anyone know if the wool pants in EG's lookbook (picture below) were ever put into production? Are any stockists in the U.S. going to them have it if so? I haven't found any information in regards to them.

I'm guessing they won't be available until September, like everywhere else. There's more info a couple pages back into this thread.

The pants in the phoths are the Knick pants. The hit just below the knee and I suppose you're supposed to wear high socks with them. They'll probably go out the same time that the bedfords go out, since they're made of the same material.

Thanks. Those could be tough to pull off well, but I'm half-tempted to anyways

I just received the photographer vest from Brian (Peasant), and it is incredible. The construction is top notch--not such a surprise from EG, but it looks like the fits have become considerably slimmer this season as well. So it looks like the last excuse to downplay the greatness of EG, i.e. "boxyness," is gone.

And now I've gone and ordered the shawl vest and the binocular shirt off Hejfina. This thread is dangerous.

I've noticed that as well with the outwear pieces - the shirts seem to be about the same as they've been in previous seasons though. Even then, the sizing is still inconsistent across all of the pieces

You'll love the shawl vest. It's fairly thick and heavy for what it is.

Just snapped this quickly wearing a cheap RL plaid flannel from FB and Flat Head 5100s (apologies for the wonky angle). I'm sure it can go with a wide range of casual looks, but I plan to dress it up more often than not. I bought a pair of brown tweed trousers from Lance at VCH that are perfect for this. Then with solid shirts, maybe a wool tie with a tartan.
