And if they don't snap they start falling apart on the second wear. Like it's beyond me. It's not like I do anything to them all day. I tie them in the morning, go to work all day and then untie them at night. Literally it takes no more than 2 wears. How is that even possible? I guess I'm going to email EG too. But what are then going to send me. The exact same ones?

Wow! I have the same problem on my Invernesses. First shoelaces lasted three wears. Then I asked EG to send me some extras, which they did, and now the new laces are very frayed after two wears. Only happens on my Invernesses.

Can anyone give me some sizing advice? Interested in some Dovers in the 606 last. In Aldens I wear a 10D in Barrie and 10.5D in Plaza last. Any help appreciated!

My Inverness laces from the EG sale snapped same day I received them! I emailed them though and they sent 2 pairs over (took only like 2 days to go from the UK to NYC!) so I can't complain on the customer service part.

How tightly are you lacing your shoes?

Unless you run frequently in your EG’s, the shoe should fit like a glass slipper. The laces offer slight support, but are not intended to be strung tight.

This shouldn't have anything to do with the laces, but the metal part on the opposite side (inside) of the eyelet. If they are too sharp, the laces will be cut slightly and snap easily.
Sanding the inside edges help.
