Nevis teaser. This MTO was made up in Rosewood CC. I still hope we can get a Nevis GMTO off the ground some day.

1000

Well count me in.
@NAMOR had a list of people interested in but I think since the arrival of Utah leather some of those interested have changed their mind.

As for me I am interested in Nevis on 606 last in Mahogany CC, the soles can me either double leather or Dainite.

@stevent was also interested in Nevis but he needs F width.

EG Green Lining:

Interested parties:

Montecristo905

need 4 more!

Price will be 8150 SEK ex VAT (if you do this through us, like we hope). Trees are optional at 760 SEK ex VAT. Shipping will be free of charge (this applies to any Skoaktiebolaget order above 8000 SEK btw).

Unfortunately there has been a price increase from EG effective immediately, prices have gone up about 5%.

There will also be other changes to their offerings. Keep tuned for more info. There's going to be some kind of launch early October, they're introducing a new last and some new models. I dunno if I can reveal more. I'll have to get back to you on that.

i take the same size in both, uk11.5e. 888 and 808 fit similarly in width however 808 is more comfortable do to the higher toe box.

dredging up old posts, this site:
http://www.strasburgo.co.jp/blog/edwardgreen/2013/03/29/808888.html
seems to suggest that the 808 is a bit narrower at least on the heel, and a bit lower almost everywhere. My japanese is a bit rusty however. I'm a bit bemused as I've spent hours (or so it seemed) discussing my low instep/narrow feet with EG staff, and never once did they say "have you tried the 808?"
I'm keen to try the 808, if it still exists, but with Jermyn St closed for three weeks or more (fingers crossed they will repoen and haven't changed business model to a SF group MTO business only),I wondered if anyone had any experiences? this thread http://www.styleforum.net/t/44015/difference-between-eg-888-and-808-lasts-also-cj-348 from even longer ago also seems to suggest 808 is slim and shallow. it might be the last of my dreams. The 888 is a terrible fit on me (maybe that doesn't bode well).

My understanding is that it is no longer available off the shelf. I wonder if you can order it MTO or top shelf?

Just because they're in the catalog on that last (808) does not make them stock. This can be disappointing and also a tease.

On a separate note, is anyone doing anything with or interested in the black Willow Calf?
