I think if you ask EG to make you their standard model in F width then it is at no extra charge.

Iliprandi in Milano sell EG in F width (also JL in F)

I had toe plates installed on my new eg Greenwich loafers. There is a gap between the plates and the out sole.

They look really nice. I've always wondered what Kentmere would look like and if it would be more practical without the straps and that's basically Ambleside, isn't it?

I haven't handled Kentmere but Dennis (The Hand owner) told me the strap is the only difference between the two models. My MTO is on 202 vs standard 72 last for both models

I think so many were requesting a Kentmere sans strap they made it a model

Minimal if the shoes are the right size. If it's too small suede gives the most of any other material

Same as @jischwar. I experienced next to no stretch except for the areas of tension. Even then still, we are talking minimal stretch.

I agree. It stretches the least of all my suede shoes from other makers. I think it means the grain is very close/tight which is a good thing.
