How do people size on the Duke loafers lined(black leather ) if that helps

Im an EG chelsea 202 Uk8E so very 'standard'

Ive got the dukes and only tried onto put my foot in. It feels like it will expand and naturally as leather stretches im sure it gets even more larger. Obviously you dont want to go too large as your foot could slip out.

I read true to size everywher. Whats your thoughts from people who have worn them in.

On another note I have a brand new UK8E Chelsea on 82 last for sale. Pm if interested

I have the unlined crup version so take my opinion, on the duke loafer, with grain of salt. I find them true to size and ordered my normal UK 8D. That being said since they are unlined there is more room available than the Piccadilly. Can I ask why buy a lined version?

Anyone got pictures of their well worn e.g. year or so wear +, of their EG oxfords/loafers

Im not a crease freak but most photos are often posted on their first couple weeks wear. Be good to see shoes which have had wear

Just my opinion, but I think the actual stitching of the Dover is a lot more visible on smooth calfskin than on grain, suede, etc. I love that stitching, so why not show it off?

Agreed similarly I feel the same way about colors such as Edwardian highlight the stitch tow even better. Although that doesn't necessarily make for a more attractive shoe the doak dover is amazing.

agreed-I have Dover in Mink suede and you barely see the stitching. I love the Rosewood and am seriously thinking about those.

I've got for Dovers of which one is suede.

I have to say, the subtly of the suede Dover which allows it to be really dressed up or worn with jeans is incredible.

I also find the lines tighter which makes them pretty elegant.

I wear them with suits and jeans.

This weekend I'll do a side by side

iGents,

I am selling my entire collection of beautiful Edward Green Shoes due to a recent need to wear othortic insoles. Shoes were all bought brand new with the original lasted Edward Green Shoe Trees, Bags, and Boxes (included in pics).

Couple of new arrivals:
Cadogan in Rosewood Antique Calf:

And Duke in Hazel and White Calf:
IMG_8571.jpg

I found the Duke to run narrow. I purchased them from Leffot many months ago. When I received them, 9E UK on the 137 last, they were painful to put on. I returned them to Leffot, and had them order me a pair in F fitting. That is the pair seen above and they fit fine.
