Was drooling over the Galway (pine) they have on offer, sadly it was/is the 82 last.
6 years old Piccadilly loafers
Does anyone know if these are actual original EG shoe trees? I was told they had changed their manufacturer short time ago.
Look perfectly fine to me.
Need Galway on a different last than 82.... any places?
I was going through some old EG posts and noticed that the RL x E.G. model 'Mackay' was a forum favorite. What was so special about it?
The Mackay is the rebranded EG Asquith model. It is just a solid perf cap toe w/ medallion toe model. I think it was popular back then since RL carried it in several different colors of leather and suede. I think I ended up with 2 or 3 pairs.
Steve at Gentlemens Footwear has them on 202, one model in stock and one coming this summer
As I posted a few days ago, I just received new Cadogans in EG's antique rosewood calf. What color shoe polish do folks think I should use, or is this an occasion where I'll need to use multiple polishes? A lighter one on the vamp and sides and darker on the toe and back?
I think Steve from GF recommends neutral creme
Ah, okay. I have some of that.
The closest i have seen in color is actually the Lobb chestnut cream which you can get on the Lobb website. Thats is whar i use.
I am sure neutral works also
I have read that the Lobb creams are just rebranded saphir however i am not sure to what saphir color it correaponds to. Price is similar
On a similar note, anyone found a good match for burnt pine?
