So I'm driving from Calgary to Whistler on Friday and need some music for the trip. Hoping there is wisdom to impart here. I like listening to entire albums front to back. For taste reference I already know I'll get through Bright Eyes - Wide Awake It's Morning, Of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Feist - Metals, Arcade Fire - Suburbs and a couple others. So I'm looking for suggestions of good full albums from the past year or two I might not have.

Since you're in Canada

Rush: Clockwork Angels (2012)
Kate Rogers: Gadabout (2010)

Three albums worth of great stuff from late 2011:

Ben Folds: Best Imitation retrospective

Look up a band called Real Estate. They have two albums: "Real Estate" and "Days". Great driving music

Hopefully these conform to your tastes; they might be a little Pitchfork-y, so listen at your own risk.

Clinging to a Silence - The Radio Dept.
In Evening Air - Future Islands
Era Extraña - Neon Indian
A Wasteland Companion - M. Ward
We Keep The Beat Found The Sound See The Need Start The Heart - Jonathan Boulet

PM if you want more.

Also, you may want to include some podcasts. I listed to the BReaking Bad Insiders Podcasts (like 2 or 3 episodes) on my last road trip.
