Hey, I did it this morning biking to work as a practical choice. Needed to wear a suit, can't wear a long overcoat on a bike, and don't have a jacket anymore since I got too big for my last one last year. A new jacket is on the way but hasn't arrived yet, so it was either the puffy vest over a suit or a hoodie under the suit jacket.

And of course I had to crash into another bike on the way to work, but I remained standing while the other guy fell down so I'd say that's a good way to start the day!

The vest is very practical when cycling on a cold day in a suit.

It's quite an unorthodox idea, but I think that wearing a down vest over a suit can have a lot of benefits. It means you can stow it away easily, and also I find that wearing a full length coat over a suit can be too much and too restrictive. Down vests sit perfectly here, but as mentioned above, don't go for bright glaring colours - stick to Blue, grey or black. I typically wear my black ralph lauren down vest over my suit because I have long walk from the car park to where I work. It looks great and keeps me warm enough.
