What jean would the MII 21cm compare to in terms of fit? I have Acne Mics, Helmut Lang Straight, Rag & Bone RB15 and NDG Classics. I'm thinking of ordering some but a little unsure as to fit and sizing (this doesn't seem to be that popular a jean here compared to the MIJ 19cm).

Don't you live in LA? I know the BH store doesn't carry the MII, but the MIJ should be close enough.

correct me if im wrong but 19cm means the size of the hem on a pair of diors that measure an actual 32" in the waist a pair of new cure tagged 30 is really 32" in the waist and its hem is 7.5" 19cm convert to inches is 7.48" from context:

A member on sufu named The Grapist, or something like that, has an extnsive intro-to-dior denim thread. I would post it but that entire site is a clusterfuck and I cannot find anything there.

Yea, I just never seem to make it into BH to shop. Truth be told, I avoid BH as much as possible, too hard to get around, and most of my shopping is conducted on Melrose or La Brea. However, maybe I'll head over there for the purpose of trying them.

You can order a couple sizes of the MII 21s from eluxury to compare; they have a really generous/easy return policy.

And I agree that the 19cm is the much more innovative cut, but if you have long legs and largish feet and don't like the duck shooz look, that's where the 21cm comes in.

IIRC it's 19cm at sz 30 with +/- .5cm adjust per size
