Differences between J Press Japan's product and J Press United States'

According to a Japanese shopping website, J Press JP's OCBDs are quite short (s size's back length is around 26 inches) and I don't think J Press US are selling shirts as short as that. Is it possible that they selling different models of shirts in different places?

J. Press has been owned by Japan's Kashiyama @ Co. since late 1986. The apparel sales of the Japanese version of J. Press Ivy Style clothing provide FAR more revenue to Kashiyama (more commonly known as Onward Kashiyama) than U.S. sales. While Onward Kayshiyama has been rigorous in maintaining its J. Press roots, the Japanese products have been adjusted to fit Japanese proportions.

Mark McNairy was designing for J. Press japan several years ago. he designed an entire line that was not sold in the USA.
the only thing they ever picked up were some obnoxious ties.

the line he designed was fun but accessible.
he never understood why they would not sell his designs in the USA, they did very well in Japan.

so to answer your question, J. Press japan is different then what is sold in the USA.

I have an old set of Sulka shirt patterns. the Japaneses version was at least 2-3" shorter in the tail as well as the sleeves.

sizing is very different.
