David Donahue Quality as a brand ties and shirts. What is everyones oppion on their shirts and ties. There cufflinks iv read on here are decent. Comparing there shirts to Ralph Lauren Blue, Nordstrom brand, Hugo Boss(me no likely hugo boss), Ike Behar, Robert Talbott, Burberry London, etc. Brands of that Caliber and above. Thanks in advance!

I just bought one of these shirts.

I see they also have blue and white labels as well.

The shirt I got feels very well made. No idea if the labels are different levels of quality and materials a la Ralph Lauren and others.

David Donahue is a good quality dress shirt. At the price point they are offered, I think they are worth it. Have bought them for years and never had a problem.

I've seen DD at Nordstrom Rack for around $70, which seems like it would be a safe buy based on what others have said here. I don't know what kind of quality or fit their shirts are, though.

However, I do have several DD ties and have liked them. I wear my Eton ties more frequently but they tie well. DD ties are up there with Thomas Pink, my Etons, and the Saks Fifth Black Label from Italy that I own -- which have been very good to me so far. They can also be found at NR at good deals. They are worth it.
