Cool score. Nugget must have been the best-selling polish in Canada back-in-the-day judging by the plentiful ads.

The local Value Villages occasionally put out small bags of vintage shoelaces in the knitting supply area. I have managed to pick up a lifetime supply of useful lengths, colours and styles at an average cost of about .24 cents. If you get skunked for shoes you can often get a small win by finding laces. My tip for the day is that you should know where the shoe trees and the laces are shelved in your own stores. I learned these skills at the feet of Master Thrifter @Paul902
God wears sandals.I added to my collection yesterday. Based on the MSRP being 29 cents for 3 pair, we may be getting ripped off. If only someone would do God's work and take up the mantel of researching vintage Canadian laces....

I have a very similar boot by Dacks. Let me tell you, you really feel the pavement with those thin soles. A nice looking boot but you kind of wish they had double up on the soles. These are size 11 Dack's 150th logo Custom Grade GYW Chelsea boots.

Did you buy them? I am interested.
Likely safety shoes given the CSA sticker. The name of the company escapes me. They were in Waterloo......
I suspect HH Brown out of Sherbrooke Quebec. Nice looking shoe, You should grab those even with the steel toe.Saw these today - any idea of the maker?

I meant to re-sell. I bet you could list them and get 70-80 pretty easy. I have found that nice safety shoes sell well. The size was generally OK but I didn't pick them up -- they felt too bulky, the toe is slightly more square than I'd prefer and could feel a break-in would be required on the inside top
