Thanks for the heads up on the Marlow PTB, Hoit. The associate I talked to at my local RL store a month or so back didn't seem to know about ordering a pair, and essentially just checked the RL website to see what they offered since they don't stock my shoes in the store. I'll try calling another store to see if I can get someone a little more knowledgeable.

I'm sure a C&J dark brown shell longwing will be outstanding, but that just happens to be a style and color that I am pretty well covered on at this time. Good opportunity for others to jump in though as I agree with your assessment of Alden's recent cigar and ravello availability.

Yeah, I think a dark brown Cheviot, storm welt, double leather, with light antique edge would be badass.

You are speaking my language, Hoit!

As good as whiskey sounds...I already have these bad boys!

Very nice sir! Yes, I would imagine a whiskey Cheviot to look quite similar.

Man alive, I wish those Dundee's in your sig were a full 5 sizes larger! CRACKING price on those dude :slayer:

So I have a ravello LWB and I'm on a pre-order for a cigar LWB, and yet I find it hard to resist getting in on a dark brown Cheviot! In shades of brown, the dark brown Cheviots would sit right in between the ravello and cigar. Someone please tell me I don't need another brown longwing! Haha

You do. Let's get this dark brown Cheviot going, Alex.

Would anyone be interested in a Whiskey Skye2?
I proposed this around the same time the Harlech MTO got started but I didn't get too strong a response so I went to another maker for the boot. Here is the final product next to Alden's whiskey. I figure to show this for possible visual inspiration. :) I don't think I've posted it on this thread but if I did, I apologize for the redundancy: Natural light:
