You sound like an expert on this. How do you know?

For me, it would be interesting to do blind tests on Chinese vs Italian made garments. I am not sure if they are that discernable, even to some of our SF experts.

Isn't the determination of quality 60% by sight? It's not wine.

I was being facetious in the last post. Overall, I think the garment looks acceptable but only time, and customer reviews, will tell. Iammatt, the expert he maybe, is only one statistical point on an otherwise empty chart. The truth is out there.

I'm not sure where in China it's being sewn, but the company in charge of managing production and quality control is actually a Japanese company called Dido. According to Crit, they manufacture a lot of the well-made clothing sold in Japan under various labels to the high-end market there.

The buttonhole work is not as fine as a Brioni or Kiton. It's more of an Oxxford like buttonhole imho.

China has evolved and is capable of quite high manufacturing standards. As an audiophile I go to a couple of shows every year and the Chinese goods are almost as good as the handbuilt American gear now. They represent some real value dollar for dollar.

I would never have imagined an audiophile wears Kiton suits and EG shoes ....

Have you ever tried any of the best chinese stuff?

Or do you stick with the high dollar stuff like Kiton.

I guess my question could be for either audio gear or Crittendon.l
