I'm a graphic designer working on a shirt design for our small company. The traditional left-breast-embroidered polo is so over-done, it makes me sick, and I refuse to do it.

Any good ideas for a company shirt that us past-our-prime middle age guys who enjoy doughnuts for breakfast would still look decent in? I'm also on a very tight budget, so HB and KC originals are out, too.

Anyone think the filler-station uniform shirt is over-played? Bowling shirts? I'm just looking for ideas.

What kind of company and situation is the shirt for? I've never been in a company where people wear those so I'd need some more background info to make suggestions.
