^ +1. Unless you go to FIT, there arent so many kids interested in fashion in top colleges. Moreso in the cities but otherwise...

I'm not saying I'd only go to college at a place where kids are interested in fashion, but presence of kids who are interested in fashion would presumably correlate with a generally artsy, cosmopolitan student body. That is a quality I'm really looking for in schools.

Anyway, sorry to derail the thread. What's Rosey Jekes' selection of Gitman Bros. Vintage pieces like? I'm like to kop some of their madras pieces for spring.

Hah, true. Every school in the category has its fair share of pricks. Look a little deeper and you'll see much more beneath the simple stereotypes.

Yes, I am a Dartmouth grad - alpha chi. And we had an openly gay member of the house back in my day and others who came out later as well. So no, we aren't a bunch of crude homophobes. And yes, most students aren't going to be found shopping at Rosey & Jekes jumping on the latest Stone Island jacket.

If a guiding decision in your college selection is finding a like-minded, fashion conscious crowd then I'd suggest looking at urban schools first. But I don't think you'll generally find a preponderance of these sorts at the list of schools above. I can see why it might factor into your consideration, but my advice is that you bump this criterion further down your list of priorities in choosing the right school.

Hey fellow alums,
I'm an unaffiliated 06 that didn't know anything about RJ when I went here. Now when ever I'm back in town, I go check it out. Really beautiful building.
