Just fyi the wine colored ones he posted are bushacres. I have two pairs and think they're still great, but some people don't like the "feel" of a rubber sole.

Buchacres have rubber soles, Desert boots have crepe soles. I didn't think it mattered but a couple pages back someone posted that they hate the "feel" of bushacres because they're not squishy.

To the people that ordered from Eastbay, what does your ship date say? I put in my order last Friday, the 8th. My ship date went from the 11th to the 13th to today and now it says the 22nd. I know it's backordered but how long does it usually take? I never ordered anything that was backordered but I couldn't beat the price...

i get the same thing, its no big deal to me though if they arrive a few weeks later fyi: 30% off tomorrow 10/16/10 at eddie bauer: they have a couple DBs, wallys, im prob going to pick up some socks too

ugh, couldn't put a preorder at eastbay since I don't live in the states and now they're out of the size/color I wanted and everywhere else shipping to canada kills the deal

Definitely! You can't beat that price and I'm not in a rush to get them. I'm actually thinking about getting either the Taupe or the Oakwood from Eastbay. I'm just wondering when exactly they'll ship since the date keeps moving back. It's like they're on perpetual backorder
