It doesn’t make that much noise if you just slant the back open (I e at an angle)

Ask how I knew? Kid puke in the car the other day, luckily all on the child seat only...

I’ve been in a similar position this past year actually. Very lucky.

Unfortunately there is no solution to repair the sticky buttons and surfaces. A complete replacement of the damaged areas is the only way. Couldn’t imagine living with it, the worst was by the steering column, which made contact with my knees

The sticky button thing was also an issue for Porsche and MB back in the early 2000s.

You’re both right. The i8 still looks modern to this day, and it also still looks ugly
So it’s aged very well. Ugly when it was released and ugly to this day. OMG doesn’t know what he’s talking about when it comes to the i8!
