There's just something about a light-colored pebble grain longwing; it's always been the most pleasing combination to me. I also think that a chukka and PTB would look stunning. For either of those, though, something like mahogany or color 4 might be better. Mahogany pebble chukka would be pretty fantastic.

Just in case you are interested, we received a new order from Horween this week.

Horween football print and hatch grain. GMTO ideas for them?

How about a NST (80414) with the hatch grain on the vamp/tongue and the rear heel panel. Smooth cordovan/calf throughout the rest.

OR

Reverse it and put the hatch grain on the quarter and eyelets and the smooth cordovan/calf on the rest.

This could be a boot too (80488).

I love my PTBs! Any hatch or pebble grain shell (but not the football) color on this model, double JR or double Dainite would be super dreamy. I'd sign up!

They look really nice , is it soller last? If yes, can you please help with some sizing of soller compared to other shoes you wear ( Alden , E.G., c&j etc)

They are Soller. These are 11 UK. For reference my Detroit lasts are 10.5 UK and Alden is 11.5 D in all lasts. These were outlet shoes so I took a chance with the 11 U.K. and the fit is very good. I have just a tad bit of extra room in the heal but not a half size worth.

@peppercorn78 those are fine pair of shoes, do post exact details please.

Thanks. They are model 531, Plain toe blucher, Detroit last with reverse welt and double dainite sole (dainite with leather midsole). Cognac shell cordovan. They were a GMTO from r/goodyearwelt about 2.5 years ago.

Imagine how killer this would look in a bourbon or dark cognac hatch or pebble grain cordovan!

I think those you got there are perfect. They have a good balance of being presentable while also working with jeans in a casual setting. I really like.

And with a cup of coffee, that is hard to beat!

Yes, they are definitely the most versatile pair I own.

Went the solo route on the football shortwings w/ natural welt. Trying to reproduce the AE makeup I posted on the last page (except shell so even better)!

Hey guys - I have a pair of Carmina's polo suede boots in the Soller last. Size 8UK for me, and with thin socks, I can fit my middle finger behind my heel comfortably. Good size for me, decent room in the toe box. They even feel a little bit loose with thin socks.

I was planning to purchase a pair of Carmina's Jodhpur boots on the Forest last from Skoaktiebolaget in a size 8UK, but they are now sold out.. I have never tried the Forest last.

I really like these boots and after browsing the web it seems that all other places only have this boot with a york sole instead of dainite. I strongly prefer dainite.

These boots are still available in a 7.5UK and 8.5UK however, and I am wondering, would I possibly get a good fit with either of those sizes?

Thanks
