All these pictures of navy cordovan are making me really want to pick up something in that color. I read somewhere that the Carmina shade of Navy in cordovan looks very dark, almost black when viewed indoors, but lightens up nicely when viewed in sunlight.

What happens to navy cordovan over time? Does it get lighter? Or does it stay fairly dark. If it does lighten up, how does it look? I like how my color 8 Aldens are migrating to a reddish brown, but I'm having a hard time imagining what Navy cordovan will look like if the blue gives way to brown

That settles it. I'm getting a pair. I'm going to have to figure out what kind of belt I can get away with wearing with those. I've never owned navy shoes before.

Equus leather can make you a navy belt - excellent quality and service. I've got one to pair with my Carmina navy cordovan wholecut.

Carmina's own navy cordovan belt perhaps. Got their #8 and it's excellent value. Made by 3 individual pieces like most cordovan belts so priced according to that and not like those rare single piece belts

Ok, now I deserve an invitation to Honolulu.:)

If you bring a trunk full of Carmina shoes from Spain, then mi casa es tu casa

Thanks for sharing that. Their midnight blue looks like the perfect solution.

Now I just need to find some money lying around

I need to study that offer, hahaha. De nada, yes the colour is something different and special.
