1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Hey, has anyone heard of the Clark Cannon Valley Boot? The boot was designed by Redwing and it seems like a good, cheaper (not necessarily better looking) alternative to the Alden 405 (retail model, none of teh custom made variations) . But I was wondering if anyone here had heard of them and bought a pair. http://www.orvis.com/store/product.aspx?pf_id=0L5T Anyway, I'm making my Christmas wish list to get a few things that I need and I'm torn between making things easier for the folks and what I want.

i believe these are an exact version of the Iron Rangers if i'm not mistaken. the insole is non-existent and for me personally, i sized down about a half size in most red wings. i didn't buy, just tried on. they're very stiff but they'll last awhile.
