But why? Won't the seller give them negative feedback?

Sellers can only give positive feedbacks, thats how effed up ebay like to side with buyers, sigh

+1. Crappy pictures and short descriptions do not attract buyers. You wanna make your page look legit (super fancy and all) and take pictures that even yourself would drool and make you wanna keep the stuff :nodding:

As much as people tend to be greedy and maximize the profit on their thrifted stuff, I tend to let things go for less on forum (sometimes even Ebay offers) if its an easy sale (+no final fee value) even if its a $50-100 bucks hit in profit. If you look at it in term of your time and efforts, it's easy money, less stress on your part and guaranteed sale to get rid of your stuff to make more room for more stuff coming :)

Wow. Thought I would get responses from more people saying "alas, I agree"... NOPE! Bite my head right the fawk off. Not everyone can afford great camera equipment, studio for pictures, a manneqin (Don't even know where to get one!) or whatever the hell you all are talking about. Not everyone has perfect sells like some of you a$$holes do.

In the real world that the rest of us live, we deal with people who don't pay us... even when we say "pay within a certain time", rude messages we get from people (one wrote me with not a question, but a fun comment saying "USE BETTER PICTURES!" I wrote back saing "Hey, thats great that you have perfect vision!"), and just other **** that doesn't have to do with anything! I deal with peoples crap every time I put up on eBay and I'm now at the point where I could give a flying fawk. Why? Because of you "perfect sellers" with perfect pictures, perfect description... etc who look down at the world who don't have perfect anything!

I could be like some of those other ebayers who only use 1 picture which you cant see anything from, 5 words or less to describe my stupid item.. GREAT THINGY HERE! MUST BUY! .... but I'm honest, I'll tell you what the hell is the matter with my product. Some people won't do that.

As EBTX wrote "let the man gripe, it's an american right"... so let me talk about this instead of writing about "oh what ever will I wear??! I have a closet full of beautiful clothes and I don't know what to wear! Woeisme!"

And to end this rant... Spoo... The Almighty Spoo goes thru peoples crap too. I.E: people not paying. So maybe you "perfect sellers" aren't all that perfect if Spoo goes thru things too (and his listings are amazing!).....??! Oh Well.... I'm creating my own template to make my descriptions nicer and it'll probably still do jackshit because "my pictures are terrible".... HAHAHAHA!!!!!

False. Up your photography game.

The highlighted "The White Dots are From The Camera Flash!" ... that's the first thing that drew my attention, rather than looking at the lots themselves. Are the garments hung from a door or something? It doesn't look very good, might be better to invest in a mannequin.

Think about what you might be competing against...

...nicely presented and photographed IMO.

You don't need a studio. the best lighting of all is daylight outside, point'n'shoot cameras work great here, and maybe a neutral coloured or white sheet for the background, that's it.

a manneqin (Don't even know where to get one!)

Shop fittings suppliers in your area, Yellow Pages, or maybe get friendly with the manager from a local menswear store. :)

Dude, these folks are kindly taking the time to give you advice to improve your selling... what's the problem? You are not entitled to have buyers purchase your stuff at the price you want. You have to entice them. In a world of shady merchants hawking crappy goods, buyers feel safer purchasing something that looks professional. That commands a higher price. If you want to sell to the market, you have to deliver what the market wants.

What you are doing with this rant, is being ungrateful of the good advise given freely to you.
You made a dogs breakfast out of your ads so eat your dogs breakfast and bark for seconds.
The only person stopping you from making money, is yourself and your own ignorance. Perhaps you don't belong here or on Ebay.
Every games has its rules. Learn the rules to master the game. There are those here, myself included, who gave of their time and advice freely to you.
If you choose not to take that advice then kindly stop whining like a little girl. There are other people here who are willing to learn and better themselves if you are not.
You may want to seriously re-read from page 1 of this thread, recognize your mistakes and bad attitude, and thank those of us who have helped you.
Once you get your head out of your a$$, you'll be able to see the truth a lot better and take the advice.

If you made money on the item why worry when someone else does?

Selling low is a result of your business practices. I know that sounds harsh, but its the truth, and feigning solidarity isn't gonna help you here.

Just my 2 cents.
