Capital letters, adjectives and exclamation marks in the title doesn't light my fire.

Pictures, man, step up your game. Try taking them with some natural sunlight, it often helps show the colors of better.

"PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DONT PLAN ON PAYING!" - Really? I've actually never heard of someone thinking "Oh, I'll bid on this, but I'm sure as hell won't pay, just doing it for shits and giggles".

Why do you have two to three different colors for the text?

"Payment is Due Within 5 Days After Auction Has Ended. I Ship Within 24 - 48 Hours After Payment has been Made. If you Cannot Pay within 5 Days, Please Contact Me. No Refunds Given out After 7 Days of Receiving Item." - I don't know if you've ever learned this, but there shouldn't be capital letters on the start of every word. Writing as if you've not completed elementary school isn't attracting buyers.

Okay, I think the guy gets the point.

For the record he's a great seller who sells good stuff at a fair price, is more than willing to make special arrangements, he communicates quickly, etc. I have purchased a couple of things from some of the bigger sellers and although I did not return them they weren't quite as honest in their listings as they could have been. I guess if you're doing that much volume the occasional negative feedback is not as devastating as it is to the amateur seller like us. Still, I've had crappy transactions with small guys and fantastic transactions with the big guys. All I'm saying is that no one's perfect and the big guys could probably learn a few things from Kitontini. So cut him some slack.

I've had 5 no pays since the beginning of the year, and I don't sell much. So yes, there are people who bid and apparently have absolutely no plans to pay. I have the same disclaimer as he does - and I've seen plenty of other sellers that do too. eBay has gone way too far over to the pro-buyer side so there's little else we can do.

I've also added a disclaimer apologizing for crappy pics and asking people if better pictures are worth the extra money. I know that they are but I sell so very seldom that I just don't think it's worth the trouble and cost to "up my game". So, I know that better pics would bring more money, I just added that caveat on my listings so that people would stop and think before they passed them over. If it means that much to them then so be it. I just want to make a sale and save others some money if I get them to think.

My own theory is that Kitontini posted this because he knows it won't stop there. Okay, so I know that's how capitalism works but we've also seen the effect that unchecked capitalism has on business and finance. eBay called me a few days ago asking me to list more items for .99. I simply can't afford to because of what you advised Kitontini - I set them for the minimum I'm willing to take. So what happens when no one ever lists stuff cheaply anymore? Will eBay start charging the little guys so much to list any other way that it is no longer profitable? Will they set a minimum qty selling limit? Who knows? I know: "coffee is for closers". I guess that sort of domination by the most ruthless is inevitable. That doesn't mean it doesn't suck if your're not one of them.

Sure, all's fair in love and war, profit is king, only socialists cry, yada, yada, yada. He's trying to make some extra money and he's run into people who do it for a living. They find other's weaknesses and exploit them for profit. It's the American way.

So let the man bitch. It's also the American way.

After a long hiatus, I'm preparing for a massive eBay sell-off and all the ensuing headaches. I really don't give a rip who buys my stuff or what they do with it. I just want it gone. If I felt otherwise, I'd invest in a mannequin, which would only make Mrs. Pnutpug think I'm even more nuts.

Sure, there are jackasses like that, but I have a feeling that the sentence won't make them think different.
