Ewww.

I just had white laces put in my three year old, wonderfully aged brown Sperrys. I'm happy with the result.

Never seem to find them for a cheapish price though.

The brown suede has gotten wet and aged to the point they look like oily beeswax leather.

Where did you get the white laces? I have some navy Quoddys that have navy laces but I think I would like white better. Who put them in?

I cannot stand laceup deck shoes, which is unfortunate since the brown pair you posted is such a great color yet goes unworn in my closet.

First of all, you posted a picture of black boat shoes, not navy. But to answer your question, Sperry Topsider makes great navy boat shoes with white laces. I have 3 pairs of Sperry's A/Os (authentic originals) 2 brown and 1 navy and I think the navy is the most versatile. I know brooks brothers also makes a navy boat shoe with white laces (almost all their male models wear that shoe in their pictures) but I'd say your best bet is to stick with sperry.

You may also have a look at Sebago Docksides, I heard that they are of slightly higher quality than the Original Sperry ones, especially for every day use because of their thicker leather and sole. That's the reason I chose them over the Sperrys. Got mine, actually navy ones with white laces

, last friday, naively thought it might be a good idea to wear them for the first time barefooted and going to a nightclub. Lets say I did not break them in yet... ...but they did me.

After a long search I got these :
Very comfortable and I like the sneaker-like sole shape better than the classic one.
