Best maker of bespoke medical clogs?

The friend of my cousin's neighbor is beginning to make rounds in med school, and they're required to wear these ugly black medical clogs. I was advising him to get something better, and was hoping for input from you. I really tried to sell brown to him, but he said there's no compromising there, but at least not all black shoes are equal right?

So, could you recommend a really good maker of bespoke medical clogs? It would really be great if he could get that beveled really waist, for starters. Definitely, I'll tell him to go with chisel toe and not square. But do you think a mirror shine is appropriate for a hospital? And do you think he could use the same pair for clubbing and for interviews?

Also, would any of you have a coupon, since he doesn't have a lot of money. He shouldn't compromise though and should get full grain leather and single needle stitching.

But then don't you think he could go with brown anyway?

Actually if I were an ER doctor on my feet all the time in stressful situations I would probably wear those cheap rubberized Crocs. I have on right now on my injured foot, which was recently operated on. I paid $6 for them at the supermarket.

There does appear to be alot of drinking going on here....Bespoke clogs? I emphatically support all bespoke artisans, but not sure that a med student sporting bespoke clogs is a recipe for success.

I would second the call for cheap Croc knockoffs or Mephistos or Birkenstocks. Once your "cousin" is a well know surgeon, bespoke clogs would be exactly what the doctor ordered.
