I think the 9-10 oz fox flannel might would make for a great winter sport jacket, particularly if we are going to use a heavier canvas. Happy to pitch in on the canvassing/trims. We need some horn buttons too.

I'm thinking a chocolate or dark tobacco flannel jacket.

Dugdale has some reasonably priced lines too, however, you need to register for a trade account these days.

Yes, I don't have that much lining either.
9-10 is still quite light, 11-12 is even better. Heavier weight gives a much better shape, you can shape it with the iron much better. Especially if you like the sculpted french look, concave shoulder etc...
