I've bought a pair of Garrett Leight Wilsons off their website. I'm happy with them, but mostly because there isn't anything near where I live. I recommend trying on before you purchase unless you really know your size and what you're after.

i don't have that frame, but i wear shuron sidewinders. i have a massive head and a high nose bridge so 95% of frames don't fit me properly. they are fantastic for the price, only downside is no spring hinges.

I don't know but SALT has yearly sample sales in the Los Angeles area. You can try to get a proxy for those on here.
