I've always associated saddle shoes with casual. Isn't there always brogueing on saddle shoes?

Are all black saddle brogue oxfords formal enough for say a charcoal gray business suit or a funeral or semi -formal wedding, or does the saddle indicate a level of casualness not normally associated with black oxfords?
why are light wash currently jeans shunned and considered unfashionable?
A question perhaps better posed over on the Streetwear & Denim side of the room. Are they ok to wear casually, with chucks,t shirts, henleys, etc or am I veering dangerously into "dadcore" territory?
To someone who defines "looking good," as being dressed in what is currently fashionable, and "looking bad" as being dressed in what is currently out of fashion, wearing those jeans would leave you looking genuinely bad.I don't care about trends and don't mind being an odd duck, as long as I don't genuinely look bad
Hey, they're blue jeans. Pretty much by definition, jeans are for casual wear. At least by traditional menswear standards.I'm thinking these are great for wearing ultra casually.
