I have a pair of Bostonian Classic long wing in black with leather sole from about 10 years ago in 8+/10 condition.

Does anyone know who made them? I couldn't find any writing inside the shoes that indicate country of origin.

HELP

I wiped down my boots with a damp cloth, then applied Allen Edmonds Conditioner/Cleaner to my Clarks Beeswax boots, then sprayed their Waterproofer on it. Now there is SEVERE discoloration of the leather. It is no longer dark brown, but light tan/yellow.

Was there too much water that it stained it? Or is from the products?

Most shoe care products out there are for a specific type of leather. Are your boots made using smooth calf leather?

If I take a 9G in Crockett & Jones 9 E/9 3E in Allen Edmonds, will a 9 E in Alden fit my foot?

You can't go too wrong with blue or white shirt and a blue or more likely grey jacket/suit. I think of this as more of a summer tie, but I guess you would wear it any time.

I love theses Kilgour silhouettes:

Especially the blue check third after the morning coat.

What do you think?

More importantly what would you call the silhouette?

I would attempt to classify it un eloquently as 'British military...'
