Was also wondering about this... what pants do people like for casual wear outside of jeans? I feel odd wearing my grey dress pants out to bars/etc.

Cords, Moleskin, Poplin, Linen, Wool... You can find solid casual pants in all of those materials, though bear in mind that the more casual you try and get the closer you'll inevitably get to chinos.

Don't know what you have against chinos. A well fitting pair is great.

That said, 5 pocket cords are a great option in cooler weather, and I've been wearing linen quite a bit lately. That whole summer thing and all, and they've been quite wonderful. If you get yourself down to your old navy, there might be a few clearance pairs of a line they had this spring- a white 100% linen and a 55/45 light brown. They're obviously not the highest quality, but the fit is nice and so is the price.

I'm just not sure what you have against a huge category of pants made from cotton twill. If there's something you hate about chinos, odds are it's not applicable to the entire category.

I want to buy a slim fitting dress shirt to wear to a wedding in size 0/XS. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what labels/websites would stock them? I was looking at this http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCat...ub_Product_Id=1437032&default_color=Blue#null but read somewhere else that they do not fit that slim? Also it is a button down - would I end up in mens clothing jail if I wore it with a suit and tie? Thanks for your help..

I would like to buu a qualitu slim fit pair of.navy blue.trousers, I had a pair from uniqlo but they shrank alil too much and now the.rise on the leg is too high for my liking. Im in the market for another pair, was looking at bonobos but was wondering.other.places to look. I would like to keep them around the bonobos price range which I believe is around the 150s. Sorry about all the.periods, stupid touchscreen phone.

What's a good pair of SF-approved sneakers that will be comfortable for lots of walking? I have a pair of Chucks, but with zero arch support, they hurt my feet after a while.

Tretorns and Supergas generally get higher marks around here.

Taking temperature out of the equation, can you safely wear fresco in the winter, or would the texture be faux pas? What is the latest in the summer that you personally wear fresco?
