Maybe because the monitor isn't insulated. Insulated Monitor looks like ****

haha ya. mine is very slim fitting and then when i wear it open it looks pretty dope. the insulated monitor might just have a bit too much padding, but it still looks pretty cool worn open. when closed it's kind of noticeable where the down ends at the bottom (i.e. there's a horizontal break that's visible from the outside).

i thought the idea of a year-round coat was cool at first, but life is too short to be wearing one coat all year round in my opinion, especially if it doesn't look good.

I don't understand why their non-insulated Galvanic, never comes with a detachable hood. What's the point in a gore-tex jacket without a hat?

Aestheticssssss. Besides most people don't buy AV for the performance, they buy it so they look good and can say their jacket is waterproof.

Realistically I never wear the hood on my Galvanic unless its awfully windy

Much prefer the extra length on the IS than the non IS. I don't think I'd ever wear the hood either, it's looks sooo bad, but I like knowing it's available for me to use.

Yea, Galvanic. What season was this "long coat"?

When was the last time they made a non-insulated Galvanic?

Edit: Long Coat was first season

My mistake, I meant the Partition. The partition could use some added length imo.
Edit: Norwegian Rain just did a coat to my liking though.
