actually, the fact that these are more colourfast is one of the main reasons I chose them in the first place. I'm not into teh fadez and I FAR prefer the way Ande's denim fades more uniformly. I have washed mine about every 2 weeks or so the past few months and they're still dark and that's how I want them.

P.S. mine look a lot like the ones above after many many months of wear in a rotation.

Those are definitely V3s with the inky dark denim and custom pockets. V2s were before that time and streaky.

One the note of V3s I took some shots of mine a month of so back at the 2 year point, didn't think to put them up here before...

Shower and wear on arrival, soak at 6 months, soak at 12 months, gentle wash at 18 months and another gentle wash at 2 years.

This goofy statement made me laugh. Thanks for that.

comments on the fit?

personally i hate boot cuts, but the back rise seems really high and its sticks to your thighs a little bit too much. looks great through the hip and upper thigh though.

I'd been wondering what the Cougar Bootcut looked like. Could you post a side pic?

They look fine. If you don't like the thigh snugness, though, I'd say return them and find a different cut, maybe not from AW.

They look great; they will only get better as they soften up. Aside from ridiculous TR flarez, bootcuts are fine. Also, part of the problem is they don't go so well with those shoes (which are wack in and of themselves).

That's because he's a one-man operation who only sells through his website and got his start here and on superfuture. His jeans are dope and you should buy a pair right now.
