Is 3 yards enough for one pair (big guy) of trousers? Better to have too much than not enough. Also, I'm looking at Brussels linen for the trousers, comments?

Depending of course on how big and what sort of pattern the cloth has, I think that would be well more than enough.

Most tailors have told me that 4 yards is almost enough for an entire suit, so 3 should be plenty for a pair of pants.

1.5 yards should be enough for a pair of trousers.
