E's customer service is excellent. I sent my shoes for re crafting earlier this year. After a lapse of 3 months , I sent a follow up to enquire on the status of the repair. They informed me that there was some delay in re crafting my shoes due to an internal matter & sent me a new pair of shoes in the same model. They subsequently returned the shoes I sent for re crafting after it has been repaired which was a nice but unexpected touch.

It is AE's customer service that makes me loyal customer. Their quality control is quirky and getting a good pair of shoes from them is a matter of luck, but their willingness to work with you till you get what you like is what makes up for it.

I purchased my first pair new from the AE store in Dallas. After a few wears, I was concerned about something and called the store. The store manager promptly sent me a replacement pair. It turns out the issue I was having was that I was uneducated regarding leather shoes and not a true issue.

I think AE has lots of very happy customers
