I believe we are defaulting to black unless I see that the majority would rather otherwise.
OK guys. Here is your chance.
Who wants black eyelets?
Who wants brass?
Make your voice be heard.

Alternating brass and black! jk

This is a good thought. So the piece the hardware sits on is black shark. Black hardware would look just fine there.

You say that, but it was available in E. Amiright @Count de Monet

Correctomundo! At least in a lot of models.

That said, the 2 last had a weird ability to tolerate high insteps (like mine). The RLxAE Sanderson and Singleton were both on the 2 last, as was the Eagle Country, and all fit great, even the loafer (Singleton).

Of course, you could get them in E.

I saw a black shark with black shell combo online. Same boot as posted a page or two ago with brown/black.

I’m on the fence joining in. I like the burgundy/black combo and brass would look sharp!

@ae_ashley I’ll have to reach out to get some Landon’s sent to dial in the sizing.

Use 11EEE as your starting point. They’re a pretty full feeling fit. I’d compare to 201 but different.

The frequent comparisons to the 201 last has scared me off the Landon. Won’t work for my narrow feet, 201 doesn’t, unless they decide to start offering an A width.

I ordered a test Landon in 10D. The 201 is also crappy for me, but works in 10D as a blucher/derby boot and 10.5D as an Oxford boot. The high cone in the smaller size is compensated by the ability to stretch at the bottom of the shoe

Yeah, even though I’m using all the foot bed it still feels large. A lot of volume. You're flat footed, so I think it’ll feel odd. You might get lucky going down half a length? Taper is less aggressive

Remember shell and shark aren’t going to stretch like CXL. You *can*, but it takes a lot more care and effort.

It works in shell for me on the first Ave. it’s not about actually stretching the leather, but the default slightly wider closure at the bottom of the cone vs the tighter Oxford. My foot can slide in with my orthotic, and the shoe has enough room to accommodate. On the Oxford, there is no flexibility in that part of the shoe because the camp has fixed width
