Ok, I’m going to own up to my own ignorance here ( it’s a full time job, trust me): how does one pronounce Ithside?

I’d say Its-hide, since the H is after the S

Higgins loden suede with olive dainites. Fits great and to me looks the part. Glad I didn’t go from E to D. It did not take 8 weeks to make. I ordered during the collectors sale little over a week ago. Don’t mind the workout pants. Had to test drive them stat to make sure they’re not poisoned.

Burgundy Higgins arrived earlier today. These were seconds but all I see is a little rippling on the shaft that will never be noticed

And a little on the left toe that even I don’t notice when I look down at the boot

Looks good with Dad jeans too.
All in all not too shabby for $210. (And I can see why some don’t like the sole but it is a nice change from my Normandys and my Bean Katahdin boots which must have the hardest vibram soles ever made.

Every sample above does show green, but the thing that makes me hesitate to choose the color is that there's potential for red, pink and yellow to also be part of the color. It might not look as green as I want. Someone else called it "watermelon" shell, which I think is pretty accurate.

I think this makes it exciting because there's so much variation in it. While I do prefer other variations of marbled black, it ensures my pair is uniquely mine and one-of-a-kind! Gotta say I'm curious if marbled shell is going to be a staple in future TS? Imagine a marbled chili, or marbled blue? The possibilities...

OMG, the Natty, the Chili Randolphs!!

Wow! That's an excellent presentation - that should certainly help those with limited imaginations.

I need another pair of shell loafers like I need another hole in my head, but the marbled shell Randolphs are incredible looking! And the chili, too.
