I just pulled the trigger on the Park Ave Sneaker yesterday.

I mocked it and found it stupid, to begin with, but now I'm buying one! In matter of fact, I'll say that AE needs to come out with more recraftable sneaker models!

Hi @ae_ashley,

I am not sure if this has been asked before: I wanted to know if not only can the courtside sneakers be recrafted but will we be able to get the original sole color we chose during the custom event?

I really like this makeup but want to ensure I can get the brick colored sole as a replacement in the future.

You bet. That won't be a problem.

Did anyone else notice there is a 20% off F2 sale on right now (or am I just late to the party)?

Click the graphic to take you there...

One person's "amaze-balls" is another person's "fuddy duddy"; personal style is individual.

To be clear, @ProfilaBinding used the term "fuddy duddy" first and while I am sure that I am older than he is, having lived in urban areas has kept me much younger than my age would otherwise suggest.

And, so far I have avoided looking like this.....or this...

I am not sure how the second one has a men's 40 over fashion blog/website/YouTube when he wears things like that maroon paisley tuxedo/evening/dinner jacket. He should rename it "40 over fashion for tacky people".

LOL, I hear yah, they are bit more fashion forward. I think that pic is the G&G Isham in kudu leather. Some random examples of how they look in real life on, I think, two different lasts (can't find a fit pic of the exact shoe). It is a really nice looking shoe. Check out the G&G thread sometime if you are interested.

While I can appreciate them, they would not look good on me. IMHO, one needs to be tall and lean to wear those types of shoes which I am not. I'm not fat but not that tall either. I weightlift and already have big shoulders (due to genetics) and large legs (due to cycling) so I do my best to minimize my build and wear appropriate clothes and shoes. If I wore shoes like those, I would look like a circus clown with really big shoes because long, narrow, and pointy shoes simply do not work for me.

Crazy weather week here in central AR. Ice storm followed by 8-9" of snow followed by 12" of snow. A record here but I have seen pretty similar storms here a few times over the last two decades. I used my wolverines to shovel my driveway but my weatherproof HM for extra casual Friday at the office today.

I like how well you coordinated that watch strap with the boots. The Yema is a cool watch.

Wore the Pattons today (AGAIN!), but I am thinking and longing for the day that I can break out the Leiden Weaves.

I'm not crazy about the original shoelaces on the walnut Leidens. Suggestions and thoughts?

Hope everyone out there is warm and safe. No pics at the moment but I can now say I'm a firm believer in dainite. My CXL Higgies did lots of work over the past few days in ice and snow. Seriously considering switching my leather soles over as they come up for recrafts.

I think that the laces in the Leidens look fine. I might try a mid-brown.
