1-loafers; but not likely apparently, so
2-perhaps a Mac in dark green suede
3-not sure. I'm liking the suede denim Strandmok, so may not need a TS haul to scratch my suede itch.

1 - loafers...man I wish Patriot was an option...
2 - a boot, most likely a Hamilton or Fifth St hopefully in green suede (preferably olive not loden)
3 - maybe more depending on suede colors offered

Aye. Though I wouldn't be opposed to a First Ave or Sullivan Street if the colorway was right.

First Ave is a great boot, and would be nice if, as you say, the color is right.

So... behold the power of edges! I bought a pair of brown shark Belmonts. Took a chance on the sizing, as I have them in black in a different size. Seem to be ok. Anyways, they came like this with a solid brown edge:

I would have been tempted by a blue shell PA, but they didn't offer it. I don't need anymore formal shoes anyway, but the PA looks amazing in navy shell. Those lucky Canadians got it though in the last Trunk Show.

Well men...

I have just dropped $295 plus tax on the Bartlett; it's the most I have ever spent on a pair of shoes.

Is there any way of telling by the box--or the shoes--if they are pre-Caleres production? Both guys I talked to at the AE store of purchase said, "Oh yeah--it's the old box with the hammer, the 1922, (some other stuff I don't remember), so they are almost definitely pre-Caleres."

I think no one is answering because it's pretty difficult to know. Caleres purchased AE sometime in late 2016 or early 2017 (I'm not sure). If they have piping, I would say there's a higher chance they were made in 2018, but I cannot say for certain. When they exactly switched the walnut over to piping, I doubt anyone knows. Regardless, if they have piping, I think you'll like them. I prefer the Independence Bartlett's over the Strand.

Speaking of Bartletts... wore these today. One of the most comfortable pair I own. The lining of these are so soft, like my feet are cradled in a cloud. Happy Tuesday!

Hm is too clunky for me to have more than the brown shell one I have now. I am really not sure what suede I am interested in, but I will be interested.

Suede Trunk Show sounds sweet! Unfortunately, I may have to pass this time. A recent Ravello double tap has depleted the 2020 budget for now. Looking forward to the upcoming shenanigans though!

2. snuff Grayson
3. snuff MacNeil
4. dark green any of the above

Only going to do one, so given our recent discussions, likely the Grayson or MacNeil. Leaning towards the Grayson since I have a snuff Carmina longwing in 11UK that works well enough.
