AE shoes are inconsistent, but that can sometimes work in your favor. My dark brown Bartlett shoes originally had quite ugly edges on them. I finally restored them to an acceptable appearance over the weekend. My walnut pair on the other hand, has some of the most well done edges and heels I've ever received from AE.

Boot week (wrapped around yesterday’s Florsheim vintage gunboats) continues.

Sunday. MTO Long Branches
Monday. Stock “golden brown” CXL LB’s
Tuesday. Sauk Drives (“russet” Dublin)

Thursday’s child, outdoors (with what I now see is an untied boot) and indoor with both tied.

Those dark brown Bartletts look amazing with that edging. You really hit it out of the park with that edging.

Thanks! The funny thing is, after several unsuccessful attempts, I just sanded it down and applied chili and neutral dressing. That's it. No conditioners or other products.

Wow, they really turned out well. You just did neutral then chili on top?

Is it popular/suggested to condition after sanding the edges?

LL Bean has some different styles of cords that might interest you... They're 98%-99% cotton, however not wool.

If you're after a wool composite, I cannot help on that front.

Stunning! One of the best canvases for brown shell.

I also love the reflection of you from the floor :p Were you holding something shiny in your left hand?
Lol shiny floor outside my agency. Someone was coming in or I would’ve taken more time to set up the shot. That has to be my watch in the reflection.

I applied the chili first and then neutral afterwards to protect it.

I really don't know if we're supposed to apply conditioner to the edges, but I had done it to several pairs in the past. It worked well on JR soles, but not so much on this Indy sole.

Anyone else not getting much info on their TS19.2 orders?
I got my last-placed order very quick...the two i placed in the first hour of the first day.... both "green" according to my SA, and green for weeks for one. But where is it? He can't tell me more than that.
