At $127 it would be on like donkey kong.
Even closer than that, they're the same Genus!
If I can get them to give me any amount of credit for the $50 off promo that i'll be getting for my recrafts then I'll buy them. Maybe. If I haven't already gone an purchased Neumoks... It's possible that this forum is not helping the problem...
I love the look of the Leeds. I figure that the walnut color could be the most versatile shoe in my collection. You could wear walnut Leeds in almost every situation.
I originally didn't care for the leeds but have grown to love mine. I have brown country grain and walnut. Very versatile as you have said.
Lots of discussion on the Merlot/Burgundy/Oxblood differences, so I figured I'd throw this out there. My only shoes in that color range, Nathans in Burgundy:
Problem? What problem?? I've heard nothing about any "problem"...
Did you notice that the ones at the Nordstrom website said they were made in USA? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
The only problem I've seen is not having enough shoes. I'm tempted with getting the 1776.
It's a balancing act ...... Keeping my wife or getting more shoes.
I did notice that. If they are in fact, made in USA (and thus recraftable!!!) I will be all over this. I prefer the olive and brown colors too (as I have overlapping colors in similar styles with a blue Kirk and tan addison).
I just chatted with a CS rep. They said this was a mistake on Nordy's part and these are also made in AE's Dominican plant (and thus not recraftable). The person did verify that it is the same sole, Stead suede, etc.
I am seriously tempted to pull the trigger on 2 sizes in each of the brown and olive.
Faded denim and Normandy (MTO) boots with rain in the forecast... though not in the skies nor on the ground (yet).
Go for it. I pulled the trigger on the olive, which is not bad of a deal for around $160. I am wondering, can they still be recrafted by a cobbler?
Heads up for anyone interested: Tan grain First Avenues (firsts) went on clearance today for $267, but only in size 10D. If that's your size, you might want to jump on them.
