Aftershave + Cologne Combinations

I was wondering if anyone uses aftershave followed by a cologne or skips the aftershave altogether.

Separately, do you use the same brand (so that Cool Water Aftershave matches Cool Water cologne) or do you mix it up?

I use an unscented aftershave balm, followed by eau de toilette.

it's not a good idea to put alcohol on your face. skip the aftershave. rinse with cold water and then use a moisturizer if you want to.

Agreed. I use Sharps moisturizer lotion, which is virtually odorless. I let it dry, then put on the cologne.

im the same way. baxter moisturizer, no aftershave, then cologne about 1/2 hour before i go somewhere (i dont wear cologne just to type on SF).
