would you mind explaining the difference between furo's and your denim, besides the cuffing?

A real denimhead can explain it better. The KMWs are a slim, straight fit with a mid-rise. They're the same at the knee and at the hem...about 8.25" I think. In that pic, those are still pre-wash, so they would sit less on the boots after their first shrink.
I don't know anything about furo's jeans.

The jeans I had on that pic are a 1980 KMW raw, unwashed and unhemmed (34" inseam)

So the only difference is essentially the cuffing vs the hemmed look that you see on Vox. I've probably worn that pair of KMWs a total of 7-8 times so they are hardly broken down at all

That's funny...my 1980s are 34" inseam as well, and are not hemmed...probobably worn about ten times when that photo was taken.

4. MC/SW&D Hybridizers. This is the biggest group right now. I reserve commentary, if any, for the future. My working theory is that a lot of the members in this group are actually guys who dressed casually most of their lives and are coming into circumstances or an age where they have to, or want to, wear coat an tie. So, a lot of college guys who are about to be or are recently graduated. Bros to bows.

There are guys on this side of the forum who are doing a form of "hybridizing' for the business-casual work place that is more 'modern/european/fashion' based than their mc counterparts. I wear wool trousers, white or blue shirts and black oxfords almost everyday but it doesn't look anything like those guys.

MC gdl looks a tad better than his SW&D alter ego, but we´re not seeing a full fit pic on his MC outfit, so his pants and shoes might be awful, the jacket too long, etc, etc.

fwiw, i did. you shouldn't expect things, you're not aware of. you tell me that i do not understand stacking, cuffing, hemming and the whole concept of denim.

I don't care whether or not you "understand" denim its quite obvious that MC simply is proudly ignorant of multiple ways to wear denim. Stacking, cuffed, none of that matters to SW&D which was my point. MC however can't accept any fit that deviates from basic dress trousers so rather than accepting a fit like Parkers outfit its much easier to dismiss the entirety of it based on a detail that doesn't conform to a convenient check list.

what i wore today: dark brown suede sneakers, ludwig reiter from their bowling line. rl jeans, don't ask me which. they fit. black round neck longsleeve cotton shirt. chocolate brown, cotton bomber jacket. can be worn on both sides. dark blue on the inside.do i post a picture?

Ugh please don't, I already see enough sad old men wearing black and brown (!?) with bowling shoes on a daily basis.

sorry furo, that was a joke. I wouldn't wear crocs even if Ines Kaag delivered them herself. I don't subscribe to the hipster philosophy of sartorial irony.

Even crocs are too ugly for hipsters to wear, and no one knows terrible footwear better than hipsters.
