anybody know if the “raw denim” carpenter jeans are going to shrink a lot?

i’m rusty on my denim knowledge and can’t remember if raw always means unsanforized or not.

I don’t have those so I can’t say for sure, but I haven’t found the 18E denim pieces to shrink much personally.

thanks! yeah haven’t had any issues with the ones i already have. but noticed these ones in particular say “unwashed” so curious if that’s like shrink-to-fit level shrinkage basically, or if i’m just not up on the terminology anymore.

Raw just means unwashed after it was dyed and the jeans are generally starched. As you mentioned, unsanforized is the one that will shrink a lot in the wash.

Given that Antonio dries all his clothes (which is where the shrinkage happens) I doubt these are unsanforized. He would have said so and there'd be customer complaints.

This coat runs large to size. We suggest taking your usual alpha size for an oversized fit or sizing down one size for a truer fit.

If you search through old photos, dadcore, who is typically on the tall side of medium, got last year’s in a small. Looked great.
