1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Which Valstar are you looking at? For the shearling, I'd say err on the larger size (trim fit). For the balmacaan, I'd say err on sizing down (fit is voluminous). For the sherpa-lined Millerain coats, you could go either TTS or size up depending on layering intentions (fit is slim)

Tobacco suede Valstarino is all sold out at this point. The green suede harrington is on the slim side of TTS, so we're recommend going up for a comfortable fit.

I'm going to promote the Eidos emerald green SC for anybody not sure about the color IRL (the image on NMWA's site is perfect studio lighting and shows excellent detail but makes it appear lighter than it is).

I'm shocked nearly every size is left of this jacket (except my size, heh).

Here are some pics showing the color in different lighting situations.

    Greg Hi,

First of all my best wishes for a healthy and happy new year to all SFers and your families!

My suggestions concern Sozzi knit ties, square (flat) end, 7cm wide; please bare in mind that I am fully, fully aware of what it's already offered:

    1) wool 70% - cashmere 30% in grey, charcoal, navy, burgundy..., the first two are represented below:

    2) IBID, in birdseye, which BTW Sozzi really nails it:

It goes without saying that these are suggestions for next winter since this year's FW Sozzi knit tie collection is complete and fantastic!

Also, I reckon that in the forthcoming Pitty, offerings for the SS will be tackled, as well as perhaps generic ones.

    Best,

    Dimitris

I have one that appears to be about halfway between these two in color. I can wear it with just about any fall jacket. It is quite versatile. It's one of my wardrobe classics. I'm actually surprised we don't see more blog posts about the virtues of a charcoal cashmere knit tie.:)

    Thank you @GusW

It seems that all rest of us, should very politely ask @gdl203 to give it a serious consideration! Please, not an 8cm pointed-end one!

    Best,

    Dimitris

That Monitaly Parka is one of my top 3 "gotta move from Florida" items on NMWA.

    Nice work, Mossy.

High of 9 degrees yesterday in CO. Wore mine over a t-shirt. Perhaps my favorite purchase from NMWA, certainly my most sensible.

@gdl203 I suggest a limited edition run of Vicuna ties. Brioni has done them before.
