They're all huge, feel flimsy, have bad interior lining, zippers are junk, etc.

The tote bag on Frank's site is a good indicator of what he can do. It's not an extreme reimagining of the standard tote bag, but it's streamlined and you can see the care in the design.

Hi guys

Our next Collective Action feature will be Rota trousers. Before we put up three swatches as contenders, I'd like to poll you guys and see what you'd like to see. General idea (e.g. grey tweed, or navy twill, etc...). Please don't ask me to scan swatches - there's hundreds of them - but if some themes emerge, I can find try to find corresponding swatches there and post them up for vote in Collective Action

1. gdl's Definitive This is Why Navy Odd Trousers are Good (flannel or worsted).

2. Olive flannel sounds interesting.

3. Copper flannel or lightweight tweed.

4. Air Force/RAF Blue/Grey flannel or worsted.

5. Large scale houndstooth flannel like this:

Also, I received the Sherry Tweed check jacket yesterday. The team at NMWA that picked the fabric did an outstanding job.

Green looks great. Like the variation of colors on it.

Hey Greg, is there a enough of color/tonal difference in the navy lesser nailhead, and the blue plaid H&S to buy both?

I think that it depends a little bit on how often you need to wear navy suits - but I think they're quite different (a lot moreso than the H&S vs Mystique for example). In particular, the weight and texture of the Lesser 13 oz is really impressive. It has more heft than the H&S. I am so in love with that suit

Didn't that market die of a swift and certain death as a result of airport security requirements to have clear bags?
