Bull's wool wanted to see what this winter weather advisory was all about. Meh, it said.
Also, Butteros and Dents.

Similarly, my Gray came out to play today. It told the cold to go away.

For comparison purposes, I like that the Gray and the IM bull wool below fold to the same height as the three linen Inis Meains, one Schneider (Roman), and on Ralph Lauren cashmere to their left.

Guys who own both Rota in cotton and wool is there any difference between the 2 pants in the same size? Please tell me the legs fit wider in wool

My flannel all fit identical to each other (six pair). My lightweight wool all fit identical to each other (two pair). My heavyweight cotton all fit identical to each other (two pair).

The heavyweight cotton fit me with just a slight nip of the waist.
The flannel fit with a larger nip at the waist and a nip of the seat.
The lightweight wool come in at the waist and seat, but are tightest in the thighs.

Thank you for that. Now would you say your flannel vs cotton fit the same in the thigh? Also buying the same size?

My lightweight cottons fit me well for a cotton pant but would be too slim in the thigh for a wool trouser. Im eyeing the medium brown flannels

Justin, I have both the wool and the heavy cotton twill in a size 54. They both fit pretty much exactly the same the only slight difference is that the cotton pair is a little bit snugger in the waist. But they both fit me wonderfully.

Patrick, very nice sweater. That Grey looks great.

Can't hold a candle to Stitchy's picture from yesterday with a different variant of this coat, but decided to wear mine today nonetheless.

NMWA: Big Jawnz, Schneider Merino, Inis, and Buttero.

Like others said, lightweight are slimmer. Heavy weight and wool are pretty much the same. I Agree with Stitch, heavyweight cotton maybe a tad snugger in the waist.

Thanks bud. I have gone for the more MC variation haha.

I'm sure you could go full on SWD with that coat, but personally I think that that colorway works better for MC or MC casual type fits. Which, as we have discovered, is your sweet spot. You've done well.
