Technically, t was a gift for me that I hadn't known I wanted but that is just semantics.

Do not buy this chair. If you get it as a gift, try to stop payment.

I do, however, see how bad experiences with ink can make one wary of the brand. I have one Private Reserve color and the dry time is so slow that I probably won't buy any more.

I got the falcon on sale for 80$ from a local cigar shop liquidating their inventory. I wanted a F nib but settled for a M since it was all they had (and I can have namiki swap it out) and it writes like a pelikan F anyways. The flex nib takes some getting used to though.

The falcon is a funny pen. While the finishing is very nice, the pen itself is very light and insubstantial. Doesnt look very impressive at all. Another poster summed it up best when suggesting that users should always keep it in their jacket pocket and not laying around as someone may pick it up, not realizing its a fine pen and walk away with it.

Now you can see every single wrinkle on Patti LuPone's face. Great job Conne.

Huge silver (or rather, quadruple plate) tray; 1890s Orientalism, which is rarely seen. I'll see if I have an undercarriage made to make it into an occasional table. It's 24x16 in.

Crappy pic of my new toys:

Olympus E-3
FL-50R Flash (the big boy)
12-60mm f2.8-4 SWD
I'm now $3k poorer.

I tested out the Nikon d300 but my heart was set on the Olympus. It felt better in my hand, and ultimately, it costs a lot less to have a fully water-sealed kit. The bodies are within $100 but I'm not quite ready to spend 1800+ per lens, which is what you have to spend on nikkor to get water sealing.

Personally, I think the 7-14mm f4 is the jewel. That lens is unreal. My next lens is the 50-200 f2.8-3.5 SWD though. I'll probably order it next week or something. It was $300 more at the store than online.

Have you tried putting a naked girl face down on it?

Your ability to keep repeating things out of context astounds me.
