I'm fairly confident the American version of Mad Max 2/The Road Warrior was not dubbed and the only difference was the title change.

There was a dubbed version, I've seen it on Japanese TV. Maybe they dubbed American accents for the Japanese audience but that seems unlikely.

I loved the first one, but I really love the second one. Rare for me to love a sequel more than the original. Maybe Crank 2, Die Hard, Evil Dead 2, and the Road Warrior fall into that category.

Really? You liked 2 better than the original? It was good, but not better than the first.

Also, Spiderman 2 was better than the first, Aliens was great, but totally in a different way than the magnificent Alien. I'd say Terminator 2 was better than 1.

Oh yeah, one more- KHAAAAAAAANNNN!

X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes (1963)

This is my favourite Roger Corman movie. Just finished watching it and it still creeps me out.

That was a creepy film. I remember watching that back in the day and having nightmares.

Ha! You fell for my trap! Die Hard is technically a sequel to The Detective with Frank Sinatra.

And the original Star Trek is still a great movie. Kahn had the action and while it was pretty good it also doomed every successive Trek movie into dumb action films.

Identity Thief 4/10

A few humorous moments, aside, a mess of a narrative.

Oz The Great and Powerful 5/10

Tepid script and very poor performances. And, it's now official, James Franco cannot act.

I just finished Once Upon a Time in the West and Witness for the Prosecution, and now I am starting Anatomy of a Murder.

Saw Julien Donkey-Boy, like a diluted Gummo. Meh. Already saw Kids, should I bother with Harmony Korine's other movies?
